A Glimpse of New LifeDYNAMIC WORSHIP (Sunday mornings at 10:30 am)Praise Teams and our Praise Band lead an energetic and reflective worship experience with modern praise choruses. The blending of foundational hymns also keeps our feet planted on the "Solid Rock." The motivational message is rooted in Biblical instruction to help you discover life-changing truth, which is relevant for every generation. Our goal is to celebrate the Grace of God, Exalt the Son of God, and Focus on the Word of God. (John 3:16, 4:24, 12:32, 17:17, Psalm 47:1, 122:1, II Tim. 4:2, I Peter 1:23-25) BIBLICAL ENCOURAGEMENT (Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 am) We believe: "The Bible is not a rulebook to make you miserable, it is a roadmap to make you successful." Effective Bible study will navigate your roadmap for success in life. Our goal is to build your faith with "peer related" Bible study and encourage your life with positive Christian friendships. (Josh. 1:8, Acts 2:42, II Tim. 3:16, Heb. 10:25) POWER FOR LIVING ACADEMY (Sunday Evening Adult Bible Study Sept-May) The Power for Living Academy is a unique blend of Bible teaching and motivational principles for successful living. This strategic approach to learning is designed to help adults build a spiritual foundation and a positive framework for success. (Josh. 1:8) REAL POWER YOUTH MINISTRY (Sun. 9:30am, 6:00 pm, Wed. 7:00 pm) Students, grades 6-12, enjoy the "extreme pandemonium" of our exciting youth ministry! They discover "real power" as they learn to apply the Word of God. We are impacting the schools as students accept the challenge to reach out to their friends. New Life believes in: "investing today in our leaders of tomorrow." (I Tim. 4:12, II Tim. 1:7) TEAM KID (Wed. 7:00 pm) (September-May) Children, age 4 - grade 5, enjoy this fun-filled, action-packed, and Bible-centered program. Activities include: Bible lessons, Scripture memory, small groups for personalized attention, and exciting games! Special outings are also planned to enhance the fun!!! We are building a foundation for the future as we "press toward the goal." (Phil. 3:14) PRESCHOOL MINISTRY (During all regular services) Children, birth-kindergarten, enjoy a wide variety of programming during our services such as: Sunday school, pre-school choir, Bible learners, and Mission friends. Jesus loves the little children and so do we! (Mark 10:16) WINNING WITH WISDOM (Monthly Women's Ministry) The last Wednesday of each month the ladies meet at 7:00 pm for prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and ministry. Their goal is to strengthen the home and assist the various ministries of the church. The annual Mother/Daughter Banquet is just one of the highlights of this ministry. "Through wisdom a house is built." (Pro. 24:3) SHOULDER TO SHOULDER (Monthly Men's Ministry) The last Wednesday of each month the men meet at 7:00 pm for encouraging fellowship and ministry planning. Their "helping hands" have assisted many needs of the church and community. Fellowships have included Golf Outings, Pro- Baseball Trips, and Prayer Breakfasts, etc. "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Josh. 24:15) BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY (According to need) "For I was hungry and you gave me food…" (Matt. 25:35) JAIL MINISTRY (Monthly) New Life ministry teams visit the juvenile center and offer encouragement to hurting teenagers. "I was in prison and you came to Me." (Matt. 25:36) MISSIONS The command is clear to take the gospel to the entire world. We choose to primarily support the cooperative program of the Southern Baptist Convention for our strategy for world missions. (Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47, John 20:21, Acts 1:8) POWER FOR LIVING MINISTRY Michael A. Cramer founded the Power for Living Ministry. The purpose of the Power for Living Ministry is to communicate a positive Christian message and empower people to achieve success through the motivational and inspirational teaching of sacred truth. The Power for Living Radio Broadcast can be heard each Sunday morning at 7:15 am on WSBT 960 AM. Pastor Mike is the teacher for the Power for Living Academy and the author of two books: Power Moments (52 short chapters filled with positive motivation and powerful inspiration) and Dynamics of Effective Leadership Development (12 session Bible study on the foundational values for effective ministry).
